What are "Bridges"

Bridges are used in TOR when hardline regimes block all known TOR relays to deny users access to onion sites.

If you are unable to access sites that you were able to access before, it is likely that TOR has been blocked.

To get bridges for TOR send an e-mail to bridges@torproject.com include the phrase "get bridges" in the e-mail title and use only a Gmail account.

Is Prayuth aping the king?

As General Prayuth desperately tries to consolidate his hold over Thailand after pulling the most dishonest coup in the nation's history, the general appears to be mutating into a grotesque version of king Bhumibol.

Just like king Bhumibol, Prayuth has no legitimacy to rule, having declared himself PM only days after swearing he would be loyal to ousted Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.

But as his menacing soldiers sweep through the streets of Bangkok and Chiang Mai arresting anyone eating a sandwich, the general appears to want to transform himself into a good guy, even writing inane songs about "happiness".

It rather reminds us of king Bhumibol's failed attempt to pass himself off as a talented musician, banging away at the piano with sausage fingers while his royal scouts ran a mock in Thammasat.

Now Prayuth too is playing the "beloved leader" role in an effort to convince a silenced nation that their ambitious dictator is a sensitive, cultured man and not a nasty butcher.

Something tells us that Prayuth's silly musical stunt is unlikely to convince Thai people. Thailand's new Skipper is no more divine than the loser he's attempting to ape.
Is Prayuth trying to be popular by copying king Bhumibol?
