If only Prayuth had a brain...
It's official. Prayuth Chan-ocha has a heart, the NCPO confirmed it yesterday. All that the General needs now is a brain, then we can all live happily ever after.
Oh dear! It's all beginning to sound like the plot of the Wizard of OZ film, isn't it? Staring queen Sirikit as an overweight version of the wicked witch of the north and king Bhumibol as the great wizard, who turns out to be a pathetic hoaxer hiding behind a curtain.
No-one ever doubted Gen. Prayuth has a (cold) heart. It's even obvious the king is "in his heart". How else could he be so cruel to Thai people?
Only someone with the king in their heart could so boldly betray a nation the way Prayuth has, while at the same time pretend to be a good guy.
The problem with Prayuth is that he thinks Thai people don't have brains, when in reality it is HE who doesn't have a single brain cell in his block head.
Prayuth thinks anti-coup critics are silent because he has won the argument. In reality, few criticise the General or the army because to do so means going to prison after a military trial.
So let's just explain it to the General. The coup is illegal, and is sure to cause problems. Sooner or later, Thai people will lose their fear of the army and take to the streets in protest.
You don't need to have a very big brain to see that Thailand's junta is going to cock up the economy again. That will lead to social tensions and unrest.
Hopefully before then, Prayuth will click his heals and get lost. Then eveyone can live happily ever after...
